Percy Kelly Display
22 September 2017 - 17 March 2018
Born in Workington, Cumbria, Percy Kelly is best known for his portrayal of the harbours, towns and villages of his native Cumbria. An eccentric and private individual Kelly’s work shows an honesty which is often lacking in the portrayal of this popular county. The display features prints, works on paper and letters.
This display coincides with the exhibition Percy Kelly, Line of Beauty: A Retrospective on display at Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery, Carlisle until 28 January 2018.
