Monet 'Only an Eye’? Gallery Talk

Coinciding with the great Monet on loan from the National Galleries of Scotland, this second lecture presented by Professor Michael Clarke CBE takes a look at Monet’s technique and questions Cézanne’s famous quip that ‘Monet is only an eye. But what an eye!’. The talk takes place in the exhibition gallery.

Professor Clarke is a Lakeland Arts Trustee, former Director of the Scottish National Gallery, and author of books on French art and Impressionism.

Tickets are £15 or £10 for Lakeland Arts Members, Patrons and Benefactors.
