Meet the Artist
Originally from Kendal, Kat Loudon is a designer and founder of Glasgow design studio, Zag. Her work spans across design, education and community, she is passionate about empowering people through art and design by giving them skills, confidence and experience.
Kat is particularly interested in environmental and socio-political themes and ensuring that young people feel their opinions on these matters are heard.
Kat is also the co-founder of Cobolt Collective, an all-female street art group formed out of a desire to change and question the landscape of mural art in the UK. Alongside large scale mural projects, Cobolt attempts to make the art form more accessible through facilitating workshops and seeks to engage with groups and individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to work on large scale artwork.
