Places,
objects and landscapes of various kinds were Prunella Clough’s
principal subjects. She said that she was an ‘eye person’

Margaret Garlake is an art historian and specialises in twentieth-century
British art. Her publications include books on Peter Lanyon and,
most recently, the sculptor Reg Butler.
