Christopher
Newall is a specialist in nineteenth-century British art and has
curated exhibitions for The Royal Academy, Tate Britain, The Ashmolean
and Yale Center for British Art in the USA. He has written numerous
books and articles on art of this period and is currently working
on a revised edition of Virginia Surtee’s 1971 catalogue of
the works of Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
