The National Gallery, London have generously agreed to lend three iconic historic works from their internationally known permanent collection which artist George Shaw was inspired and influenced by for his exhibition My Back to Nature. The works in question are: Piero del Pollaiuolo, Apollo and Daphne, c.1470-80, oil on wood, Nicolas Poussin, Nymph with Satyrs, c.1627, oil on canvas & John Constable, Cenotaph to the Memory of Sir Joshua Reynolds, 1833-6, oil on canvas.
