Many
children make their first visit to an art gallery as part of an
organised school group. In order to encourage you to make full use
of our rich supply of resources, we offer school groups FREE
VISITS.
The Trust invites teachers to book a free preliminary visit where
you can meet a member of the education department and discuss when
you are coming and what you will be doing.
The
following information explains how to book and gives guidelines
concerning your visit.

- THERE
IS NO LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF FREE VISITS WHICH CAN BE BOOKED IN
ONE YEAR.
- Free
visits may be booked for any school party of children aged under
18 years and in full time education.
- All
free visits MUST be pre-booked in order to avoid overcrowding.
- There
must be one responsible adult (admission free) for every 8 children.
- Free
visits are unguided but talks and workshops are available for
a charge. With gallery visits we do suggest a talk is requested
so that children get the most out of their visit.
