From January 2008 all young people up to the age of 25 in full-time
education will have free entry to Abbot Hall. This will allow greater
access for a wide range of young visitors outside school times,
and we hope schools will encourage parents of children of all ages
to take advantage of this to broaden their education.
To
help parents we will be inroducing interpretation within the gallery
with information aimed at a number of different age groups and levels
of knowledge - so that everyone, however little they may know about
art, can get something worthwhile from their visit.
