Abbot Hall is a Grade I Listed Georgian Building and as such has several
short flights of stairs throughout the house. We have made the entire
Gallery wheelchair accessible. An eight man lift stops at each floor
and chair lifts give access to the different levels. There are also
window seats and benches in some of the galleries.
We welcome the visually impaired at Abbot Hall. Service dogs are
allowed throughout the Gallery, although please be aware that there
are sometimes delicate objects on open display. We also provide
large format labels for our exhibitions.
We have a toilet for the disabled, beside the coffee shop.
